The City of Prince George has selected HPLanarc Consultants of Vancouver to lead in the planning for Prince George's sustainable future. This huge community planning process will include significant community engagement and rides on the coat tails of the Smart Growth on the Ground initiative recently completed.

The ICSP will provide a planning and implementation framework for the city and its partners, and help coordinate their efforts, leading to the City's goal to become sustainable. The OCP will help determine how the City can use its resources and powers wisely to maintain or enhance residents' quality of life while living up to environmental values.

HB Lanarc is one of Canada's leaders in environmental planning, design and sustainability. They have put together a talented team with wide ranging expertise in the areas of communcation, First Nations engagement, sustainable infrastructure, transportation and housing, fiscal impacts, demographics and forecasting, and facilitation.
